NEC Project Manager
Introduction
Our client is working with a number of Airports on their fit out of new lounges, access gateways and remodelling.
Our clients are looking for experienced Project Managers who can work on complex JCT/NEC contracts within Airports (or similar) and know how to deliver within a live environment.
If you want to be involved with delivering positive change in your local area then this is the role for you!
Working Patterns - 2-3 days per week on site but might need to be at the Airport 5 days per week if needed.
Key responsibilities
- Make a difference by delivering a diverse range of highly complex projects and programmes.
- Infrastructure project management and/or programme management across the project lifecycle.
- Advise on project management principles.
- Delivering to client objectives and ensuring their requirements are met.
- Client and contract management.
- Delivering financial management and project controls.
- Designing solutions for complex construction environments.
- Lead, manage and develop project teams or work streams as part of larger projects or programmes.
Skills & experience
- Experience of aviation infrastructure project management.
- Experience of procurement and managing NEC contracts.
- Experience of managing contractors, consultants and other advisors on infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with public sector organisations, non-departmental or arm’s length bodies relevant to infrastructure.
- Degree or HND qualification in a management, construction or infrastructure related subject, or equivalent experience.
- Professional affiliation, qualification or near qualified status with the APM, ICE, or similar professional institution.
- Project management certification (APM/PRINCE2/MSP).
