Introduction

From supporting national defence to saving lives and protecting communities, our client provides critical, complex engineering services in the UK and internationally.

Our client maintains and repairs a wide range of Mechanical equipment on Defence and Government sites in Gloucestershire.

They are looking for someone to join to work primarily on sites in Gloucestershire, although there may be opportunities for Nation-wide and Global travel.

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure the Safety and Reliability of all machinery & equipment throughout the sites.
  • Mechanical repair & preventative maintenance of all machinery to a high standard in accordance with manufacturers specifications.
  • Mechanical and/or Electrical/electronic fault finding and repair on production equipment.
  • Support the Maintenance Team Leader with planning & implementing preventative maintenance schedules & TPM activities.
  • Improve the reliability of machinery & equipment.
Skills & experience
  • A background in Mechanical maintenance of a wide range of equipment.
  • Preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Ability to work on daily plans and tasks.
  • Multiskilled, Mechanical or Electrical Apprenticeship qualified to ONC or equivalent NVQ.
  • Experience of PLCs, CNC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics & Industrial Control would be an advantage.
