Introduction

Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Planner to join their team. They currently provide a PMO Service to establish, lead and run a PMO in a Confidential Client. This is based on a hybrid resourcing model which includes client staff and contractors working alongside them

Key responsibilities
  • Take day-to-day responsibility for the maintenance of Programme-level plans
  • Provide timely updates to Programme-level artefacts
  • Maintain the Programme Dependency Log
  • Maintain the Programme Assumptions Log
  • Ensure consistency of approach across each project team
Skills & experience
  • Strong MS Project skills
  • Confidence working independently, using own initiative, and managing own workload, and also enjoying working as part of a team
  • Building relationships with immediate contacts at all levels in the business
  • Good attention to detail; high level of accuracy
  • Problem solving and analytical skills, enabling innovative solutions and insightful decision making and recommendations
  • Change control, Risk and Issue, Documents and Requirements management
  • Understanding of financial processes and the ability to report financial data
  • Working in a consultancy or customer- facing role (either with internal or external clients).
