Our client is looking for a Technical Leader who can work with them to develop their software capability!

They are extremely successful in Aerospace, Defence, National Security and CNI in Technical Consulting, and now have started to win work within Software Development so are growing their team to deliver work packages for clients.

You will need very strong Java experience and some technical leadership skills are required.

Key responsibilities
  • Developing software for cutting edge technology innovation projects.
  • Developing Java software for web and applications.
  • Lead teams across the entire Software Development Lifecycle.
  • Designing, developing, delivering and supporting a number of cutting edge and bespoke solutions for clients.
  • Recruit and build a team of engineers.
  • Take technical leadership and make technical decisions.
  • Opportunity to take a Scrum Master role.
  • Mentoring and developing junior developers’ skills
Skills & experience
  • Senior level experience with Java.
  • Experience with range of Java frameworks and messaging services.
  • Database development (SQL Server or PostGreSQL preferred).
  • C# skills can be utilised.
  • AWS experience is desirable.
  • Experience taking responsibility for outcomes/delivery as a technical lead.
  • Be a technical expert, the go-to person to solve the most difficult technical challenges.
  • Experience leading the design and architecture of solutions.
