The client has an office in London and Swindon but they are happy with people working remotely. There will be an element of travel to client sites. This could be weekly depending on the client.

The client is looking for someone with experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and also experience SQL and Python. The successful candidate will need to be very strong technically and lead a team of Data Scientists and data projects.


Key responsibilities
  • As a management consultant you would nurture and grow existing client accounts, identifying and execution of sell-on opportunities
  • Gaining insight into sector and client businesses to enable demonstration of thought Leadership
  • Developing new data offerings
  • Overseeing the work of the data science team
  • Contributing towards internal training, developing programs and sharing knowledge across the business
  • Project Management: taking overall responsibility for delivery excellence and exceeding customer expectations
  • Working with the Leadership team on client assignments to develop a strategy and then refocus the organisation on making that strategy a reality
  • Articulating how our client can transform their business and providing an evidence-based recommendation on how the client’s business will need to adapt
  • Demonstrating our technical capability to clients
  • Supporting the sale with implementation of technology apps within current clients
Skills & experience
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Analyst gained in one or more of the company’s core sectors:
      • Aerospace and Defence
      • Automotive
      • Consumer products
      • Industrial manufacturing
      • Private equity
      • Technology, Media & Telecoms
    • Transport & Infrastructure
    • Working with clients to form tailor made strategies
    • Leading a data science team
    • Experience delivering and managing data driven projects within a consultancy
    • Data consolidation, cleansing and validation to provide business insight
    • Manipulating large data sources, optimising using indexing and subsets to provide usable data for fast analysis
    • Data Visualisation using software such as Tableau and PowerBI
    • Building data models in Excel, Python or SQL
    • Strong Degree level in business, engineering, IT, mathematics, science or economics related discipline
    • Evidence of ongoing learning
