Key responsibilities
- Working with the media and web teams to produce high-quality learning materials for the military from technical engineering to operator training.
- Integrating emerging instructional methods and technologies into eLearning
- Producing High standard, effective storyboards and scripts
- Producing effective and interactive eLearning content using rapid authoring tools
- Ensuring training documentation meets the requirements
- Training will be produced with DSAT (Defence Systems Approach to Training) standards
Typical process:
- Gather the requirements from the client as to what needs to be included in the training
- Make a blue print for the lesson, break out the training into different modules and having a list of training tasks which require research and work with the SMEs to get the content
- Work with the media/web teams so that they can develop the training to be delivered (in various mediums: videos, CBT, e-learning, VR/Augmented reality, powerpoints etc.).
- If required, they would then go back to the SME to gain more information if there is anything missing.
Skills & experience
- An understanding of a Systems Approach to training is preferable (DSAT ideally) but they are open to candidates from a broad background within the training environment
- Demonstrable experience developing training content and courseware
- Experience of delivering eLearning products on a Learning Management System such as Trivantis
- Demonstrable experience in Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise and/or Captivate
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent follow-up, time management and organization skills
