Infrastructure Engineer

Our client are in National Security and looking for different levels on Infrastructure Engineers to join their team to deliver and maintain operational Infrastructure Systems.

It would be great if candidates had some knowledge of both Windows and Linux and be comfortable with on-prem and/or cloud systems (you don’t have to be a specialist in both).

This is a hybrid role with 3-4 days per week on site and the other days can be worked remotely.

• Work across different projects to support secure infrastructure.
• Take responsibility for technical aspects of projects and work closely with project management to deliver.
• Perform system administration and backup tasks.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications, networks and services.
• Work across maintenance, installation and problem resolution.
• Capture and interpret requirements to contribute to design and implementation phases.

• Experience as a Infrastructure Engineer/Systems Administrator in a secure environment.
• Have worked across requirements decomposition to acceptance and customer sign off.
• Understanding of the design and implementation of large-scale information systems.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience working in a Linux environment (RedHat, CentOS) and/or Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Understanding of Virtualisation technologies (VMware/vSphere).
• Cloud services (AWS or Azure).
