Key responsibilities
  • Working on a combination of research and development projects on our internal roadmap and for external clients.
  • Development and application of state-of-the-art vision algorithms to real work problems.
  • Bespoke algorithm development as well as use of OpenCV and Deep Learning backends.
  • High levels of responsibilities from a very early stage with the support of highly-skilled computer scientists, mathematicians and developers.
  • Constant learning about new technologies and state of the art algorithms.
  • Working on systems and technologies that can have a genuine impact on security and society.
Skills & experience
  • Experience in image processing and computer vision is essential
  • Experience in machine learning is beneficial
  • Experience in deep learning is beneficial
  • Also suitable to candidate with very strong “conventional” image processing skills who wishes to master more recent machine learning approaches.
  • Excellent academic background with strong coding skills in Python or C++.
  • Demonstration of personal projects and active contributions to open-source community is highly desirable
  • Undergraduate Computer Science degree and/or PhD in imagine processing/computer vision desirable
  • Degree in other scientific areas accepted if extensive commercial image processing experience.
  • Open to graduates as well as those with commercial experience
