ICS Engineer
Introduction
Our client is looking for an experienced ICS engineer to design and develop control systems infrastructure for the Navy.
This role would require previous knowledge on SCADA and PLC infrastructure to lead designs and deployment.
This is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days per week on site.

Key responsibilities
- Lead ICS infrastructure design and deployment, implementing solutions that facilitate IT/OT convergence.
- Design and manage industrial networking architectures such as Profinet, Ethernet, IP, fibre optics, or wireless for mission-critical applications.
- Oversee full lifecycle management of software and hardware IT assets.
- Maintain and configure Windows Server domains and Red Hat Linux environments.
- Design, implement, and maintain virtualised environments such as VMware and Hyper-V.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practise and regulatory compliance.
Skills & experience
- Experience with IT/OT integration, within ICS systems.
- Experience with SCADA or PLC.
- Proficiency with Windows Server and Red Hat Linux.
- Experience with virtualisation environment such as Hyper-V or VMware.
- Experience working in a regulated environment such as defence, energy, transportation, or critical infrastructure.
