The Role:

You will be responsible for export shipping and compliance with relevant legislation. Responsible for the daily recording of goods in and out of the company. Provide customer service to other employees in the company and act as the focal point in Stores. Assist in the maintenance of the Warehouse including issuing, receipting and kitting, as well as supporting in the cycle counting at month end and year end.

Key responsibilities
  • Incoming Goods - Check & receive goods, register on SAP.
  • Restocking stationery store - source & re-order stock within allocated budget.
  • Receipt and Issue items to and from the warehouse when required.
  • Distribute incoming and outgoing post.
  • Scan all signed delivery notes in SAP and attach to relevant Purchase Order.
  • On time delivery of goods to meet the Customer requirements and contractual/legal obligations.
  • Provide accurate export and payment documentation.
  • Provide accurate records of all shipments and other transactions to comply with HMRC, UK Export licensing and ITAR requirements.
  • Stores lead for knowledge and expertise on all exporting issues.
  • Responsible for the administration of Custom Import and Export requirements, including the assignments of tariff codes, and maintenance of records in accordance with HMRC custom requirements.
  • Outgoing Goods – Securely pack, complete all appropriate documentation, including HMRC customs information.
Skills & experience
  • Previous stores type experience, ideally manufacturing, using a SAP, ERP, MRP system.
  • Strong attention to details (Kitting components, administrative paperwork)
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, word etc
  • Comfortable with light manual work - Kitting, picking, packing, shipping.
