Introduction

Our client is committed to helping the UK reach its Net Zero goals and are working with Energy, Power, Distribution and Transmission clients to provide Electrical Consultancy services.

Our client offers a multi-disciplinary working environment and bring exciting opportunities to work on projects from feasibility studies, through to FEED, ECP and delivery. You will be doing project work, managing electrical assets, and applying electrical codes and standards through the project lifecycle.

Working Patterns – hybrid 2-3 days per week in the office or on client sites, the rest can be done from home.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide electrical consultancy and advisory services to clients in the Energy sector.
  • Manage electrical projects and electrical assets.
  • Apply electrical codes and standards.
  • Develop relationships with clients to become their trusted advisor.
Skills & experience
  • Relevant industrial experience in the energy sector.
  • An understanding of the engineering project and asset lifecycles.
  • Good knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain existing and develop new client relationships.
  • Experience in working as part of a project team.
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites when required.
  • Capability to work under tight deadlines while achieving objectives with the ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately.
  • Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering.
  • Chartered Engineer through the IET or working towards chartership.
