DV Cleared Oracle Database Developer
Introduction
Our client designs, administers and supports Oracle and Java Databases and systems for Secure clients.
They are looking for an Oracle expert with experience in Java and working in an Agile environment to join their team!
Working Pattern: Predominantly on site.
Key responsibilities
- Perform a range of software engineering tasks across the development lifecycle.
- Oracle database design, development and administration.
- Assisting with requirements analysis.
- Implementation and testing of applications and databases.
- Java development and support.
- Integration and test activities in support of system upgrades and deployments.
- Ensure software compliance standards are met by the application of appropriate processes, procedures and tools throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Demonstrate an innovative approach to developing technical solutions to complex customer business/mission problems.
- Assisting with accurate estimating/planning to ensure that project milestones are met.
Skills & experience
- Oracle database development skills.
- Strong knowledge of Agile software development.
- Understanding of Java and the software development lifecycle.
- Experience and demonstrated competence with Java and Oracle databases.
- Experience of following procedures relating to software architecture and design, software integration and test, and requirements verification.
- Ability to create innovative software solutions using appropriate frameworks and patterns, with COTS, bespoke or cloud-based technologies.
- Solid understanding of TDD and experience in applying one of the TDD frameworks.
- Experience of software development in a Linux environment.
