Our client is a growing start-up who are experiencing a period of growth, which offers an exciting opportunity for career development!

They are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience leading agile software development projects.

Our client is looking to attract an experienced Senior Software Project Manager with a proven delivery and consulting background. The role will sit within our client’s business and will assist in delivery of complex software projects.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage project scope and technical and software teams.
  • Manages all aspects of multiple projects concurrently from initiation through closure.
  • Develops and implements project plans.
  • Owns all project risk; including time, budget, and scope, and the associated plans to contain and/or mitigate risk.
  • Ensures project quality, schedule and budget objectives are met and deployed solutions deliver targeted business value.
  • Takes full end to end responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of IT and software projects.
  • Selects the appropriate methods, tools and artefacts within our clients’ IT delivery methodology.
  • Liaises and communicates effectively with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Forecasts resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Plans and schedules project timelines and milestones.
Skills & experience
  • Proven track record of successful delivery of Projects and Programmes in a technical, secure environment.
  • Experience working across the software development lifecycle.
  • In depth knowledge of National Security practices.
  • A recognised P3M qualification (i.e. Prince2, APM PMQ, MoR, or MSP).
  • Experience and understanding of delivering IT Systems & Software Development and Cyber Security projects in complex environments.
  • Knowledge and experience of delivery management such as governance, reporting, planning, risks/issues, benefit management, finance and change management.
  • Good knowledge of financial controls and ability to interpret and report financial data and analysis.
