Key responsibilities
- Provide expertise in the development and implementation of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms.
- Provide timely and accurate estimates for project deliverables and contribute to bids
- Provide technical support to customer meetings
- Apply and scale engineering processes effectively
- Identify and collaborate with all stakeholders
Skills & experience
- R&D experience of algorithm development (communications or sensing)
- Understanding of communications and sensing signal processing techniques
- Experience of modelling/simulating algorithms
- Experience of embedded implementation of algorithms
The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:
- Knowledge of the military communication domain, intelligent sensing and signal processing techniques (relating to communication and intelligent sensing)
- Knowledge of other defence disciplines, such as Electronic Warfare, Signals Intelligence, Radar, or GNSS. RPNT (robust positional navigation timing).
- Proficient in software development
- OpenCPI
