Our client is a leading Defence and Security Consultancy client and are looking for an inspirational leader to step into this newly created role!

You will be responsible for ownership of the supply chain, commercial and resourcing functions, and ensuring project delivery.

You will analyse data and performance to make sure that the strategy is achieved.

This is a UK based role and travel will be expected!

Key responsibilities
  • Take overall responsibility for Operation of the Defence and Security Division.
  • Lead the re-organisation of our client’s Resourcing (including Supply Chain) function to create and embed consistency and meet growing resourcing demands.
  • Evolve our client’s Commercial function to support their continued growth.
  • Champion our Quality, Safety, Security and Environment function.
  • Own the Project Delivery function, making sure projects continue to deliver.
  • Develop and embed clear operational data and performance metrics to better understand business performance and make the right decisions.
  • Promote knowledge sharing across the division.
  • Enable prioritisation of the activities and initiatives that are most critical to achieving our strategy.
Skills & experience
  • A senior leader within a Defence/Security/Aerospace Consultancy.
  • A strong, collaborative approach that will bring together employees during a time of growth and change.
  • Experience in a senior operational role, leading multiple functional areas.
  • Innovative thinking that can bring about widespread and long-lasting change.
  • Commercial acumen to deliver sensible solutions, manage risk and monitor performance.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, resolving issues and removing blockers across the business.
  • Ability to bring to life operational performance through communication, prioritising and deconfliction.
