As a Cybersecurity Researcher, you'll explore, test, secure, and analyse cutting-edge systems across a range of high-impact projects. Your work will involve investigating and understanding how complex technologies function, identifying vulnerabilities in design or implementation, and advising clients with expert technical guidance.

Working Patterns and location – This role is based full time on site.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research into systems and technologies to understand their inner workings.
- Identify security weaknesses and vulnerabilities through structured analysis and innovative thinking.
- Provide technical recommendations and support to clients based on research findings.
- Take a hands-on approach to dismantling and investigating software, firmware, and hardware.
- Contribute to advancing cybersecurity practices in sensitive, high-stakes environments.
Skills & experience
- Reverse engineering of malware or firmware
- Vulnerability discovery and exploit development
- Systems engineering and security architecture
- Network protocol analysis or binary format understanding
- Knowledge of processor architectures (x86-64, ARM), OS internals, and firmware
The client would also like to see some of the below, but this is not essential:
- IDA Pro or Ghidra for reverse engineering
- GDB, binary exploitation, code injection
- Programming in Python, C, or Bash
- Wireshark for network analysis or AFL for fuzz testing
