Courseware Designer
Introduction
Our client is looking for a Courseware Designer with experience designing training for the Military/Defence companies.
The ideal candidate will develop DSAT compliant courseware, so experience with DSAT is essential.
This is a remote role with travel to Reading 1 week per month.
Key responsibilities
- Be responsible for the analysis, design, maintenance, review and production of DSAT Documentation and processes.
- Develop training courseware/design including Training Statements, Training Objectives, Learning Specifications etc. in DSAT compliant course templates.
- Interviewing subject matter experts to collate required data.
- Participate in internal workshops to discuss and agree findings from analysis.
- Conducting and maintain Training Design in response to new training requirements.
- Updating Training Design materials to incorporate relevant recommendations and feedback.
- Identifying opportunities to provide accreditation for new and/or amended training as designed.
- Maintenance and update of the design of training courses to ensure that such training courses are up to-date.
Skills & experience
- Experience in the development and delivery environment and have contributed to the design of significant training courses.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels both internally and within the customer organisation
- A good working knowledge of the training design and development processes for training media.
- Training and/or Instructional Design Detailed knowledge and practical experience of MOD procedures and policies Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
