Commercial Lead
Introduction
Our client is a Prime MOD supplier and they are looking for a Commercial Manager who has experience with Infrastructure or Facilities support contracts within a Defence or Government environment.
This will suit a qualified Commercial Manager who has lead negotiations and supported multi-million-pound contracts.
Working patterns: 2 days per week on site, occasional travel to other sites UK wide.
Key responsibilities
- Enable the fulfilment of the contract deliverables under the training support services.
- Responsible for providing commercial and supplier management to support contracts.
- Lead and support any changes on Training contracts including lifecycle and new infrastructure works.
- Lead and support negotiations with customers on contractual issues where required.
- Lead and support supplier management of sub-contractors.
- Lead and support commercial projects across the wider business.
- Negotiate and manage Confidentiality Agreements, Teaming Agreements and Consultancy Agreements where necessary.
Skills & experience
- Track record of leading and supporting multi-million-pound contracts contractual changes with MOD customers.
- Experience and knowledge of best practice and government processes.
- Extensive contract negotiation experience.
- Extensive commercial background covering the full life cycle.
- Ability to translate impact of negotiated terms on P&L and risk to delivery.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in infrastructure and facilities management contracts.
- Commercial qualification (e.g. IAMCC, WCC, CIPS.) or similar qualification is desirable but not essential.
