Commercial Lead

Our client is a Prime MOD supplier and they are looking for a Commercial Manager who has experience with Infrastructure or Facilities support contracts within a Defence or Government environment.

This will suit a qualified Commercial Manager who has lead negotiations and supported multi-million-pound contracts.

Working patterns: 2 days per week on site, occasional travel to other sites UK wide.

• Enable the fulfilment of the contract deliverables under the training support services.
• Responsible for providing commercial and supplier management to support contracts.
• Lead and support any changes on Training contracts including lifecycle and new infrastructure works.
• Lead and support negotiations with customers on contractual issues where required.
• Lead and support supplier management of sub-contractors.
• Lead and support commercial projects across the wider business.
• Negotiate and manage Confidentiality Agreements, Teaming Agreements and Consultancy Agreements where necessary.

• Track record of leading and supporting multi-million-pound contracts contractual changes with MOD customers.
• Experience and knowledge of best practice and government processes.
• Extensive contract negotiation experience.
• Extensive commercial background covering the full life cycle.
• Ability to translate impact of negotiated terms on P&L and risk to delivery.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience in infrastructure and facilities management contracts.
• Commercial qualification (e.g. IAMCC, WCC, CIPS.) or similar qualification is desirable but not essential.
