As a specialist in Civil design engineering, you will be assisting the Project manager on this complex design and engineering project for Stansted Airport
This is part of a multi-billion-pound expansion of Stansted Airport, this project covers both buildings and transit systems for moving people and baggage around the airport and you will be part of multi-disciplinary team involving many contractors and stakeholders.
We are looking for qualified Civil Engineers with experience of designing and validating complex civil engineering projects, similar to this.

Working Patterns: You will need to be onsite 3 days per week and can work remotely the rest of the time.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical input on M&E methodologies and installation techniques
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Identify and report defects and non-conformances; track and manage close-out actions
- Coordinate with Construction Managers and assist in resolving site blockers
- Validate contractor-reported progress and highlight discrepancies
- Review RAMS, Construction Phase Plans, CEMP, and other contractor documentation
Skills & experience
- Degree or HNC/HND in: Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Ability to work on-site at Stansted Airport up to three days per week.
- Strong background in M&E systems within large infrastructure or aviation projects.
- Experience working in live operational environments with complex stakeholder interfaces.
- Familiarity with construction documentation and safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
