Capture Manager

We are looking for an experience Capture Manager to lead on capture activities for our clients Bedfordshire business. You will be leading the capture team to establish and executing capture plans to successfully win new business.

Monthly travel throughout the UK will be required, as well as occasional travel within the US, Europe, and Middle East to support on captures across my client’s global organisation.

Any current or prior defence experience will be a bonus, as you will be working with a variety of defence, government, and international customers.

• Liaising closely with Business Development and Delivery teams.
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Capture Process from Opportunity identification through to Transition to Contract performance, providing process leadership to the Proposal Managers
• Full responsibility for assigned Capture budget definition and adherence (Work Flow Planning and associated Bridge entries.)
• Full responsibility for cost, schedule and performance of assigned captures.
• Working with Functional Leads to deliver all assigned Capture programmes.
• Managing Capture Risk and Opportunity to meet Customer and client objectives
• Ensure programme / proposal compliance with standards, legislation, Corporate Policy Statements, and all other required controls.

• Experience in programme management on high value programmes.
• Proven broad Capture performance and experience with military and commercial technology campaigns.
• Experience in complying with the Business Winning and Capture processes.
• Experience working with a variety of defence, government, and international customers
• Customer focused with the ability to confidently present materials to peers, customers, and senior leadership teams.
