Business Development Manager

Introduction

This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week required onsite and the rest of the work can be done from home. You may be occasionally required to travel to meet potential customers.

My client is a large defence consultancy who are at the forefront of research and development of mission critical technologies.

This role falls within the land domain so experience within this sector is key. 

They are looking for a Business Development Manager with exceptional sales skills to join their team and hit the ground running.

 

Key responsibilities
  • Proactive Business Development
  • Requirements identification, capture and shaping through to order closure.
  • Drive successful sales outcomes through the full sales lifecycle.
  • Own and manage rolling 5 year forecast.
  • Revenue recognition for future forecasting.
Skills & experience
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering £10m+ order intake annually.
  • Knowledge of multi-national defence operations, and how to align them to products and services.
  • Proven customer engagement and delivery of successful sales in the Land, CEMA, ISTAR or Defence Digital domains.
  • An existing network of contacts spanning the aforementioned domain.
