Business Analyst Consultant
Introduction
Our large consulting client are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to provide solutions for their complex programmes and projects.
You will need good consultancy experience as you’ll be working with defence clients and stakeholders as well as previous experience working in the defence sector.
This role will be a hybrid position with 2-3 days per week on site, as well as travel to other sites too.
Key responsibilities
- Capture business requirements
- Conduct detailed analysis of processes, systems and data
- Analyse and document processes and workflow and system interactions
- Turning business requirements into functional specifications
- Implement product centric operating models
- Ensure products developed are in line with business requirements.
- Conduct assessment and feasibility studies
- Support testing and quality assurance
- Performing data analysis to identify trends and patterns
- Staying up to date with industry trends and practices
Skills & experience
- Technical and business focused skills, who can articulate the outcomes and value of their work.
- Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a strong track record of successfully delivering business requirements within a project delivery environment.
- Experience working on Transformation and/or complex delivery projects
- The ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements.
- Proficiency in business analysis techniques, such as process modelling & lean practices, use case development and requirements elicitation.
- Experience with Agile delivery and knowledge of methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe 5.0, LeSS.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate.
- Knowledge of how PowerBI, Tableau, QlikSense or other analytical tools
- Expertise in how to test against the requirements and ensure confidence in the outputs
- Ability to understand, interpret, present and challenge technical and/or complex information to colleagues at all levels of an organisation
- Maintaining strong relationships with business stakeholders
