Avionics Engineer (Team Lead)

The team is responsible for ensuring that these avionic components are in optimal condition and fully operational to support flight missions.

Oversee a team of 3 technicians and 2 supervisors on the daily operations of the avionic maintenance facility.

This role is fully based on site.

• Allocate repair and maintenance tasks to the team, monitor progress and provide guidance as needed.
• Update records and documentation on component repairs and maintenance activities.
• Manage timely repairs, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination, ultimately enhancing aircraft readiness and operational efficiency.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior technicians.
• Participate in meetings and briefings to discuss operational priorities and strategies.
• Report to the maintenance team leader on progress and any issues encountered.

• Avionics maintenance experience required.
• Supervisory experience required.
• You will need either relevant: degree, Higher National Diploma, Higher National Certificate or BTEC National Certificate/Diploma in engineering, NVQ, City & Guilds, or similar qualification, or experience.
