Avionic Engineer

Our client is looking for a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to support their military aircraft engineering teams.

They carry out and supervise aircraft engineering tasks on company aircraft/equipment in support of Aircraft CAA Part ML and Part 145 approvals.

You will have a base site but be expected to travel between sites as required. An allowance and full travel and subsistence costs will be paid for nights away from your base location. This is a Monday – Friday, predominantly day-time role.

Key responsibilities
  • Be the B2 Licensed CRS signatory to release an aircraft to service after either defect rectification or scheduled maintenance.
  • Supervise engineering and Flight Line activity on Company aircraft and associated equipment.
  • Ensure engineering confirms with authorised schedules, technical publications and instructions.
  • Carry out scheduled and corrective maintenance to ensure airworthiness is maintained to meet customer requirements.
  • Undertake or supervise the investigation, diagnosis and rectification of defects and submission of reports as required.
  • Complete documentation in accordance with current legislation and Company procedures.
Skills & experience
  • Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
  • CAA Part 66, B2 license.
  • Supervisory experience in a Civil/Military Aviation environment.
  • Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required.
