Introduction

The Automation Analyst role is for a world leading telecommunications company providing vital assistance to the UK’s critical national infrastructure. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be working on rare projects with fun tools. From operating systems, build automation, deployment, monitoring, data storage, virtualisation. You will be delivering crucial platforms for clients and be involved in the full test lifecycle.

Due to the nature of the projects the client work on you will have to work onsite 5 days per week. There may be some flexibility with working a Friday at home. The client also provides industry leading training and opportunities to progress further into the business or move laterally into other areas.

Skills & experience
  • Knowledge and experience of manual/ and or automated test execution and test activities such as defect management, test case creation, execution and recording etc
  • Knowledge or experience with one or more automation frameworks (Robot framework, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins etc) and/or testing tools (HP ALM, TestRail, X-Ray etc)
  • Experience with one or scripting language (Powershell, Bash, Python, Java)

Due to the nature of the of role you will be expected to obtain and maintain a DV clearance. If you don’t currently have one, please familiarise yourself with the vetting process before applying.
