Our client is a leading consultancy who work across public and private sector environments, delivering services to their clients.
You will need to be RICS accredited to be considered, you will be managing client relations and managing pre and post contract services.
This role is hybrid based with 2-3 days per week on site with travel to external sites too.
Key responsibilities
- Overseeing multiple projects across various sectors, managing and delivering a wide range of building surveying and project management services.
- Contributing to the growth of new and repeat business opportunities across all sectors when possible.
- Managing client relationships and ensuring effective service delivery on a project-by-project basis.
- Applying standard building contracts such as JCT and NEC to ensure smooth project execution.
- Serving as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring high-quality and timely service delivery.
- Conducting defect analysis, performing building surveys, and preparing detailed reports and specifications.
- Delivering both pre- and post-contract services, including design management.
- Managing frameworks to ensure streamlined project operations.
Skills & experience
- BSc (Hon's) Building Surveying RICS Accredited degree.
- Full member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
- Ability to demonstrate good all-round surveying experience and be client facing with work winning skills.
- Experience of both pre and post contract project management responsibilities, and be able to deliver this service effectively to Clients.
- To liaise with senior colleagues to help build a profitable service and positive, high performing team environment.
- An awareness of BIM systems.
- Keeping abreast of industry issues and developments in best practice.
- Experience in development of bids.
- Ability to manage and develop team members including mentoring of APC graduates.
- Experience of managing clients and their expectations.
- Understand the principles of quality, safety and the environment within the management of projects.
- Experience in sectors that includes education, local authorities, health care, central government and infrastructure projects.
- Full understanding of health and safety requirements.
