This is a full-time on-site role
Our client is a world-class technology and engineering consultancy
The technician will carry out production related activities including the assembly and testing activity of their customers products (electronically and mechanically), ensuring that product performance and safety standards are met.
Working / practical knowledge of RF testing would be advantageous

Key responsibilities
- Cable Assembly
- Testing of PCB Assemblies
- Fault finding, modification and repair of PCBs
- Electromechanical assembly (PCBs and cables into a box using various fixings, rack assemblies)
- Calibration, Commissioning and Acceptance Testing of Resolve and Locate-T systems, prior to final dispatch to customers
Skills & experience
- Experience of using Test Gear
- Surface mount soldering experience
- Basic understanding of electronic principles
- Previous work experience within electromechanical assembly
- Experience in troubleshooting issues on non-confirming product
- A working knowledge of RF testing would be advantageous
- Able to interpret engineering documentation and communicate effectively with the engineering community
