Introduction

This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week onsite in Lincolnshire.

Our client is a world-leading consultancy looking for a qualified Airworthiness Surveyor to provide airworthiness reviews on military aircrafts on behalf of the Ministry of Defence.

You must be knowledgeable on MRP and MRP RA 4972 compliant.

Key responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for delivering Military Airworthiness Reviews on behalf of the MOD.
  • You will demonstrate compliance in accordance with current regulations and legislation.
  • You will have excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • You will be able to prepare detailed technical reports to both internal and external customers.
  • You will ensure a robust code of ethics, adopting in full the ethical principles published by the Engineering Council and Royal Academy of Engineering.
Skills & experience
  • Compliant with MRP RA 4972 (Military Airworthiness Review Surveyors – MRP Part M Sub Part I).
  • Experience of working on fixed wing aircraft.
  • Competence to make engineering airworthiness decisions.
  • Detailed knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and the MAA Regulatory Publications (MRP).
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to deal effectively with multiple issues whilst working to tight timescales.
