Airworthiness Engineer
Our client is looking for an Airworthiness Engineer to support design and repair of military and civilian aircraft.
You will also act as the interface between out client and the regulating authorities.
Working Patterns – 2-3 days per week onsite

- Establish and maintain Certification Compliance plans
- Advise on the applicable Military and civil airworthiness requirements
- Produce and support in type certificate change or repair classification
- Production and management of certification and compliance reports
- Track compliance documents and coordination with engineers
- Manage and maintain the Safety element of the Design Management System
- Maintain the Design Organisation Risk Register
- Administer Risk Register reviews to ensure it continues to record, assess and mitigate design related hazards
- Investigate reported design related safety occurrences and conduct root cause analysis
- Support safety assurance process including resolution of non-compliances
Skills & experience
- Familiarity MAA regulations and Def Stan 00-970, Part 21 DOA
- Knowledge of civil aircraft airworthiness regulations and certification specifications, interfaces with maintenance and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation
- Aerospace design background, adequate knowledge of multiple aerospace design disciplines.
- Experience with Product Data Management tools
- Good verbal and written communication
