Airworthiness Engineer
Introduction
Our client is looking for an Airworthiness expert to review Military fixed wing aircraft.
This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week on site.
Key responsibilities
- You will be responsible for delivering Military Airworthiness Reviews on behalf of the MOD, working alone or as part of a team.
- You will demonstrate compliance when delivering the outputs required by the Regulator and customer as required by current regulations and legislation.
- You will strive to build sustainable relationships with customers.
- You will be able to prepare detailed technical reports to both internal and external customers.
- You will be prepared to work flexibly within the Military Airworthiness Team.
- You will seek to identify future business opportunities.
- You will ensure that a robust code of ethics underpins Mil AR service delivery; adopting in full the ethical principles published by the Engineering Council and Royal Academy of Engineering.
- You will be expected to uphold the values of the client at all times.
Skills & experience
- Compliant with MRP RA 4972 (Military Airworthiness Review Surveyors – MRP Part M Sub Part I).
- Experience of working on fixed wing aircraft.
- Competence to make engineering airworthiness decisions.
- Detailed knowledge of aircraft maintenance documentation and the MAA Regulatory Publications (MRP).
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to deal effectively with multiple issues whilst working to tight timescales.
