Aircraft Engineer

This role is based full time on site.

Our client is a large defence company, looking for a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to manage flying operations and aircraft maintenance in line with customer expectations.

You will need an EASA Part 66, B1.2 licence and experience with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) Part 145 documentation.

Key responsibilities
  • Overseeing aircraft maintenance and engineering services to meet customer expectations and contractual obligations.
  • Managing all paperwork related to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations (Part 145).
  • Working alongside mechanical and avionic licensed engineers.
  • Working in accordance with civilian legislation/regulations.
Skills & experience
  • Proficient in aircraft engineering, including line and depth maintenance, to ensure operational readiness.
  • Good grasp of working together closely with customers and contracts.
  • Supervisory experience in a Civil/Military aviation environment.
  • Knowledge of MoD Engineering procedures/documentation.
  • EASA Part 66, B1.2 licence.
