AI/Cyber People Transformation Consultant

Introduction

Our world leading consultancy client work to deliver complex transformation projects to their Defence and Security clients.

The successful candidate will be expected to develop and implement business change strategies.

You will need to have experience with delivering digital and people transformation projects within Defence or National Security organisations and an understanding of their practices.

Working Patterns: Hybrid 2-3 days per week on site in Bristol with travel around the South West to client sites as required.

Key responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver people-focused digital and workforce transformation for defence and security organisations
  • Ensure new digital, AI, and cyber solutions are successfully adopted by the workforce
  • Assess organisational, skills, and cultural challenges and design practical change solutions
  • Plan and manage transformation workstreams, owning delivery of defined outcomes
  • Engage, advise, and influence senior stakeholders in complex, high-pressure environments
  • Design and implement operating models, organisational structures, and role changes
  • Oversee training, communications, and engagement activities to embed change
  • Lead and develop consulting teams while maintaining high delivery quality
  • Contribute to business development, client relationships, and growth of the practice
Skills & experience
  • Strong change management skills, with the ability to lead people through digital and organisational change
  • Experience driving adoption of digital, AI, and cyber technologies in complex organisations
  • Ability to analyse organisational and workforce issues and turn insight into practical solutions
  • Stakeholder management and influencing skills, particularly with senior leaders
  • Organisational design capability, including operating models, structures, and role design
  • Clear communication skills, including storytelling, engagement, and facilitation
  • Project and workstream leadership skills, able to deliver under time pressure
  • Team leadership and coaching capability
  • Understanding of defence or highly regulated public sector environments
  • Commercial awareness, including contributing to proposals and client relationship building
