Our client is a leading technology company within the Defence and Government industry. The role will be on a hybrid basis of 60% at home and 40% onsite.


Key responsibilities
  • Log and allocate calls using the Help Desk software whenever calls come in through the Help Desk system, by phone, email or in person
  • Create and close accounts for users, including liaising with HR on the starters and leavers
  • Take minutes of IT meetings where formal minutes are required
  • Allocate out loan equipment
  • Issue computer peripherals, maintain a spares inventory and update asset database
  • Manage the software database
  • Administer software and hardware maintenance
  • Raise Requests To Purchase (RTP’s)
  • Gather and send monthly IT invoices to Finance
  • Prepare monthly Help Desk metrics for the Head of IT
  • Always fully comply with our clients’ policies and procedures
  • Undertake such other reasonable duties, commensurate with the job holders experience and qualifications, as may be required for the smooth operation of the business
Skills & experience
  • Previous Help Desk experience
  • Administration experience, including minute taking and ordering
  • Managing software and hardware maintenance records
