Senior Infrastructure Engineer

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer role is for a world leading telecommunications company providing vital assistance to the UK’s critical national infrastructure. As an Infrastructure Engineer you will be working with an evolving team to deliver prime solutions for the client’s customers that make a real difference. You will aid in the design and delivery of cloud-based solutions, helping with technical direction, and be hands on in their implementation.

Due to the nature of the projects the client work on you will have to work onsite 5 days per week. There may be some flexibility with working a Friday at home. The client also provides industry leading training and opportunities to progress further into the business or move laterally into other areas.

• Experience and drive to grow skillset with cloud technologies – Primarily AWS with growth into Azure, GCP
• Ability to work across the entire infrastructure lifecycle across projects
• Knowledge or experience with one or more scripting languages: Python, PowerShell etc.
• Understanding or experience of infrastructure as code (Terraform etc) and micro-service/container-based deployment
