The client has an office in London and Swindon but they are happy with people working remotely. There will be an element of travel to client sites. This could be weekly depending on the client.

The client is looking for someone with experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau, and also experience SQL and Python. The successful candidate will need to be very strong technically and take leadership of some projects.

Key responsibilities
  • As a management consultant you will develop a deep understanding of a client’s business, their customers operations, and key drivers
  • Managing and building client relationships
  • Acting as a Project Lead, ensuring delivery excellence and exceeding customer expectations across data driven projects
  • Developing execution plans for data projects, performing risk analysis and managing change control
  • Generating key ideas and conceptual frameworks to help solve problems and drive out insightful fact-based findings and recommendations
  • Recommending approaches to collecting and interrogating client’s data to meet the projects requirements, identifying additional opportunities where appropriate
  • Reviewing and testing the quality of data ensuring consistency across all sources
  • Contributing to proposal submissions and business development initiatives under the direction of the Leadership team
  • Manage a team and prioritise workload for self and others to ensure deadlines are met
Skills & experience
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Analyst gained in one or more of the company’s core sectors:
      • Aerospace and Defence
      • Automotive
      • Consumer products
      • Industrial manufacturing
      • Private equity
      • Technology, Media & Telecoms
      • Transport & Infrastructure
    • Experience delivering and managing data driven projects within a consultancy
    • Managing and coaching junior analysts
    • Data consolidation, cleansing and validation to provide business insight
    • Manipulating large data sources, optimising using indexing and subsets to provide usable data for fast analysis
    • Data Visualisation using software such as Tableau and PowerBI
    • Building data models in Excel, Python or SQL
    • Presenting analysis results to clients and senior stakeholders
