IT Strategy Director

Our client is a leading Technical and Engineering Consultancy who operates world-wide, and they are looking for an experienced IT Strategist to work with Government and Engineering clients to develop their IT strategies.

This role requires someone with excellent consultancy skills as it will be dealing with C suite stakeholders!

Our client isn’t tied down to promoting specific technologies and is therefore looking for someone to come up with innovative and creative technical Solutions.

You will be based in the UK but will be expected to work for 3-4 months at a time in the UAE, as the clients are based there.

• Define technical strategy, covering a broad range of technologies, including Cyber, AI, Infrastructure and Cloud transformation
• You will develop Enterprise/Solution Architecture to transform the client’s IT
• Define Architectural blueprints and develop technical roadmaps
• Defining high level requirements
• Negotiate budget for the delivery of the IT capability
• You will be expected to work within the propositions and bid teams, and also develop business cases
• Win future opportunities that emerge from new technology and ways of working

• Worked in a Senior Enterprise/IT strategist role within a Consultancy environment
• A broad technical background covering Infrastructure, Cyber, Applications, Cloud etc.
• Proven experience of successful solutions development
• Excellent relationship management experience and proven experience operating at C suite level
• Ability to influence and steer senior stakeholders
• Leadership of technical teams
• Proposal/bid development and experience with pre-sales desired
