Introduction

My client is a large consultancy in the UK and are particularly successful working on MoD, Government and Public Sector contracts within Project and Technical Management, Analytics, Systems Engineering, HR, Business Change and Software Engineering.

We are looking for HR Consultants that can offer innovation and drive through HR transformation for some of the largest UK public-sector organisations. You will join a growing part of my client’s business as they partner with their clients to help tackle people related challenges.

There will be hybrid working opportunities for you within this role, however my client is a top consultancy so there will be the expectation to travel to client sites as and when required. Your office base location will also be free for you to use as and when you require this.

Having an active SC or DV Clearance for this position would be desirable, however my client is keen on candidates with prior Defence industry experience that are looking to get back into this sector of work.

Key responsibilities
  • Own and lead work streams of activity within client engagements and managing teams
  • Develop client relationships through effective stakeholder engagement
  • Interview client employees and managers and facilitating meetings and workshops
  • Assist in the preparation of high-quality deliverables such as documents and presentations which present client recommendations
  • Work with Client counterparts on scoping pieces of work including gathering requirements, gathering feedback and input for workshops or meetings and checking understanding
Skills & experience
  • Prior experience on HR operations or HR transformation programmes,
  • Implementing strategic analysis to improve business performance and the employee experience
  • Possess excellent facilitation, communication and data analysis skills
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of HR, the value it can bring to an organisation and the function it performs in a business context
  • Be able to apply knowledge and expertise in a range of client scenarios, focusing on high quality even in high pressured, time critical situations
  • Proven ability to assess, design and implement new HR service delivery and HR operating models considering business demands and more efficient ways of working
  • Experience of working with new HR Technology and experience of analysis of an organisation’s HR requirements, employee experience ambition, processes and pain points to ensure the identification and implementation of the most suitable enabling technology
