This is a hybrid role, 50% is acting as a line manager to all the participants, 50% will be leading all the training administration

In order to deliver on planned growth, our client needs to accelerate its ability to attract, recruit and develop highly skilled software engineers across a range of specific disciplines.  To this end, we have established the clients act as the vehicle to bring in and cross-train individuals from diverse backgrounds and starting points. Reporting to the clients Project Manager, as a Participant Manager you will act as line manager for a group of up to 25 participants, supporting their pastoral care for the 6 months they are aligned to the client.

You will work 3 days at home and 2 days in the office.

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure all activities relative to specific Academy programmes run smoothly, providing a single point of contact for external providers and internal colleagues
  • Work together with designated HR and the Resourcing Business Partners to ensure individuals are engaged and enabled to complete their programme and transition successfully to a client-facing role, including:
  • Facilitating an effective on-boarding process for each participant
  • Supporting individuals through each stage of their learner journey from initial assessment through to graduation, including completion of their training modules and post-training assessment
  • Support the business in preparing to receive participants as necessary
Skills & experience
  • Proven track record of successfully managing individuals and teams
  • Experience of managing the coordination and delivery of learning and development programmes
  • Experience of working with external providers
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence at senior levels, internally and externally
  • Ability to operate effectively with cross-functional, virtual and diverse teams
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • MS Office
  • In addition, prior understanding and experience of working with either neuro-divergent or ex-military individuals would be an advantage.
  • Degree preferable, but not essential
